A cluster of intergrown transparent colourless Calcite crystals with excellent lustre create this Swedish specimen. The Calcites are doubly terminated, although often there was not space for the second termination to grow fully, and it is truncated by another crystal. The crystal have scalenohedral terminations which have a smooth slightly rounded look to them. On the base of the specimen the Calcites are intergrown with a fine fibrous mineral, probably Tremolite. An aesthetic specimen from a classic Swedish Calcite locality.
