Very gemmy sparkling highly lustrous scalenohedral crystals of Calcite to 0.9cm. The Calcite crystals are mostly colourless, with some crystals included by reddish Hematite. The Calcite completely covers a mixed Hematite and Calcite matrix. A fine example of Calcite from one of Cumbria's premier locations for such specimens of Calcite. The photos do not capture the jewel like quality of the crystals - best seen in person!
