Very characteristic Calcite specimen from the Derbyshire Orefield. Crystals of Calcite are gemmy colourless to translucent white, double terminated in a sub-parallel formation. The Calcite is preferentially included by micro-crystals of metallic yellow Marcasite. The specimen comes with two old labels.
