Calcite

ID: CC198

A very unusual Calcite specimen, of sparkling translucent to opaque colourless crystals. The specimen has the appearance of clustered 'teepee' tents, each 'teepee' is created by poles of stacked tiny Calcite crystals. The crystals become larger towards the base of the 'teepees', measuring to 2mm, and are flattened rhombohedrons. A fascinating specimen with lots to see!
