Calcite

ID: CC215

Calcite forms pretty pearlescent hexagonal plates, stacked on a matrix of thin grey Calcite(?). The Calcite crystals are translucent white with clear outer rims, and measure to 2cm in diametre, forming stacks decreasing upwards in size. The matrix is formed of bladed crystals in criss-crossing divergent clusters, mixed with minor Sulphides. Quite aesthetic Calcite.
