A pleasing three faced crystal of Calcite displays at the apex of the specimen from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The crystal of Calcite measures to 3.8cm and is striated on the three faces. The crystal is colourless with lustrous chocolate colour resulting from a thin covering of Goethite. Several smaller Calcite crystals are in close association with the major crystals, on a matrix of rich apple green Conichalcite, on a dark brown cellular Goethite matrix.
