An excellent specimen of Calcite on Fluorite from the premier North Pennine location of Blackdene Mine. The specimen displays fine lustrous white inter-grown nailhead Calcite crystals to 2mm long, which form clusters up to 2.5cm. The Calcite richly invests cubic purple interpenetrant Fluorite crystals to 1.7cm on edge. The reverse of the specimen has less Calcite covering the Fluorite crystals, which are also in very good condition. A really fine small cabinet specimen. The specimen also comes with a white Richard Barstow Collection label.
