A handsome specimen from the now closed Florence Mine. A specimen displaying to advantage, showing the mushroom like development of the Calcite crystals in radial parallel position. The Calcite crystal mushroom clusters are an attractive translucent white passing to colourless gemmy terminations, with pinkish colouration at the terminations. A matrix of inter grown stubby gemmy colourless quartz crystals, is partly over grown by metallic platy crystal clusters of Hematite. A fine pleasing specimen from the mine.
