Calcite Twin

ID: CC2247

A super sweet 'heart' shaped twinned crystal of Calcite from the Egremont Iron mining area. The Calcite is incredibly gemmy and sharply formed, almost ice-like, with great lustre. The twin has contact points on three areas, and an aesthetic appeal from the equant shape of the gemmy twin. A fine specimen of a heart or butterfly twin.
