Pale tan Calcite crystals form hexagonal platey crystal which are intergrown on a Quartz matrix. The Calcite crystals measure to 14mm in width, exhibit zoning, and have a satin lustre. The platey crystals have a wavy appearance. Around the edges of the specimen opaque Quartz crystals are visible forming a druse with well formed terminations on which the Calcite has grown.
