Excellent thumbnail specimen of Caledonite from the most famous mine in the Leadhills-Wanlockhead Orefield, the Susanna Mine just north of Leadhills village. Crystals of bladed-prismatic lustrous translucent blue Caledonite measuring to an impressive 8mm, very good for the location, are seen as an inter grown group on glassy crystals of Cerussite. Many of the Caledonite crystals displaying well developed terminations.
