Caledonite and Linarite

ID: CC1520

A specimen with two relatively rare minerals from the famous Tsumeb Mine, which were only found in the opencast and on one or two levels of the mine. The specimen displays areas of Linarite measuring to 1.8 x 0.7cm with a rich royal blue colour, grass green crystalline Malachite. Scattered with the previous two species are gemmy micro-crystals of Caledonite All in a matrix of mixed granular Cerussite and Quartz.
