A fine bright matrix-less specimen of this uncommon Copper Cobalt Sulphide, from the famous copper mining Kambove area in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The bright silvery metallic lustrous Carrollite forms an inter-grown group of octahedral crystals to 1.5cm. The crystals displaying triangular growth patterns on their faces, as well as a number of smaller crystals grown on some of the larger crystal faces.
