A super specimen with brilliant crystals of the Cassiterite crystal variety Sparable Tin, from Dolcoath one of Cornwall most celebrated tin mines. The specimen displays a deep green Chloritic matrix with a cavity lined with botryoidal Chlorite. A lustrous rich brown very fine spear-like crystal of Sparable Tin measuring to 1.2cm dominates the cavity, associated with several further prismatic Cassiterite crystals. Also to be seen on the specimen are scattered colourless-purple crystals of Fluorite, and reddish micro-crystals of Siderite.
