A richly crystallized specimen of Cassiterite from one of Cornwall's richest tin mines, namely Great Work Mine, Godolphin Cross, Breage (but suffered form antiquated mining methods even for the 19th century). Bright lustrous deep brown crystals of Cassiterite measuring to 3mm richly line cavities in massive Cassiterite. The Cassiterite has formed on a typical Cholrite/Quartz matrix with some metallic yellow Pyrite. A rich Cassiterite from the mine.
