A Quartz vein cross-section of tin ore from West Wheal Kitty, St. Agnes, Cornwall. Characteristic white to shades of brown banded Cassiterite variety Wood Tin line both sides of the Quartz veinstone with some central areas of the Quartz also with Wood Tin. The outsides of the specimen showing a mixture of Quartz and Tourmaline with some Cassiterite. A pleasing specimen displaying the deposition structure to advantage.
