A superb miniature specimen of very well-formed crystals of Acanthite from the major mining district of Freiberg in Germany. Excellent octahedral metallic grey crystals of Acanthite (after Argentite) the largest crystal measuring to 1 cm, form a fine repeat twinning arborescent array in several crystal branches. A pleasing stunning specimen from the mining area. With a green R.W.Barstow sales label pre-1982.
