A rich crust of semi-botryoidal Malachite almost entirely coats a creamy-tan dolomitic matrix from the old mining district of Brixlegg-Schwaz of the Inn Valley, North Tyrol, Austria.  The Malachite forms small botryoidal hillocks which have become rounded and polished, with onion-skin peeling of thin layers giving a contoured appearance to each mound.  The colour varies from light peppermint-green through spring leaf-green to a bluish-turquoise green.  A rich and attractive Malachite from Brixlegg-Schwaz in Austria.
