A striking small cabinet specimen of Malachite forming lustrous, radial acicular clusters of vivid emerald green to 1.3 cm diameter, with the most delightful silky sheen. From the Waitschach iron and silver mining area in Carinthia, Austria, the Malachite has formed on a matt black to dark rusty brown Goethite gossan matrix, with further areas of light peppermint green Malachite and flat laying Malachite sprays on the reverse. A showy, attention-grabbing specimen.
