A beautiful specimen and example of crystallised Marcasite from Rudabánya in Hungary.  The entire specimen is composed of Marcasite developed in two distinct habits; one as slightly curved triangular orthorhombic crystals with a bright lustrous golden-silver colour and also as drusy spherical clusters to around 1 cm diameter of a dull pale gold and with a bushed velvety texture and lustre.
