Realgar with Native Arsenic

ID: CC10405
A stunning display specimen of blood-red acicular Realgar crystals of typically 0.7 to 1.0 cm in length forming a 6 x 2 cm cluster on a bed of dark grey botryoidal crystallised Native Arsenic. From Baia Sprie (Felsőbánya) in Maramureș County, Romania, the specimen covers a plate of mixed milky Quartz and Pyrite.  Other mirror-bright glassy crystals of Realgar are occasionally dotted across the Native Arsenic to produce a showy and eye-catching specimen.
