Nagyágite is a rare lead-gold-tellurium-antimony sulphosalt often containing other metallic elements and forms black metallic crystals throughout this small cabinet specimen. It is from its type locality of Săcărâmb, a village in west central Romania, formerly called Nagyág. The Nagyágite crystals form sheets and acicular blades, depending on the orientation of the crystals within the pale candy pink Rhodochrosite and granular Sphalerite matrix. A rich specimen of Nagyágite embedded in typical matrix for this classic deposit.
