A V-like configuration of two main prismatic crystals of the variety Barian Celestine measuring to 11 cm form opaque creamy-white to gemmy light brown prisms.  The term ‘Barian’ implies barium-rich Celestine.  The two main crystals have many smaller crystals branching out at various points along their length and all crystals display a semi-matt, greasy lustre.  This is an impressive cabinet specimen from Tarnobrzeg in south-eastern Poland.  Under LWUV the entire specimen fluoresces bright white with creamy patches while in SWUV it becomes a pale, ghostly greyish white.
