Fine, well-formed characteristic crystals of lustrous steel grey Bournonite measuring to 1 cm are richly clustered over a metallic golden druse of Pyrite with some Sphalerite and Quartz. A great miniature from Baia Sprie in Maramureș County, Romania. The Bournonite forms relatively long cylindrical prisms with furrowed faces, some in parallel groups and others in somewhat jumbled and stacked clusters, giving the classic intermeshed cog wheel effect this species is admired for.
