Excellent transparent to translucent, light inky purple intergrown crystals of Fluorite measuring to 1.3 cm with a cubic habit and darker coloured edges.  On a light-coloured grey-brown matrix, from Larkin's Quarry in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland.  The locality of this quarry is also referred to as Shannapheasteen, to distinguish it from a different local quarry owned by the Larkin brothers. Some of the cubic crystals have bevelled edges, but only on certain sides.  This find of Fluorite was made only in 2016 and became an instant classic due to its colour, various habits and colour zoning.
