A densely compact cluster of burnt orange intergrown barrel habit Campylite crystals richly adorn the display face of this miniature specimen from Dry Gill mine in the Caldbeck Fells, Cumbria, England.  Individual crystals fall into two groups, one lot averaging 4 mm diameter while the larger are 0.8 to 1 cm.  Around the specimen’s edges the Mimetite displays lemon to mustard yellow cores with radial crystalline structures.  A fine specimen of the Mimetite variety Campylite from this most famous and classic of British localities.
