Substantial platy crystals of Leadhillite are seen atop the specimen in a cavity with crystals of Anglesite. Crystals of Leadhillite standing on edge and laying across two cavities with a characteristic pearly lustre and slightly yellow tint measuring to 1.3cm. Some crystals show some abrasion on the edges, but not unusual for old time specimens of this species. The Leadhillite crystals are formed on colourless-white crystal lining of lustrous Anglesite, which displays lots of parallel growth on a crystalline matrix of colourless-creamy and black-grey Cerussite. A rare specimen for the crystal size from the old Leadhills mining area in southern Scotland.
