A gemmy-translucent, pink tinged double crystal of Phosgenite from the classic Monteponi mine at Iglesias on the Italian island of Sardinia. The Phosgenite crystal measures to 2.3 cm and displays a well-developed pinacoid face and major prism faces. The underside shows the Phosgenite has grown on a sugary white-colourless druse of Cerussite crystals. A lovely and well crystallised large thumbnail of Phosgenite from Sardinia.
