A limonite stained Quartz veinstone is shot-through and very richly covered with lustrous octahedral crystals of Cuprite as well as massive burgundy-red Cuprite. The Cuprite crystals are typically about 1 to 1.5 mm across.  A rich and nicely crystallised Cuprite from the classic locality of Wheal Gorland at St. Day in the parish of Gwennap, Cornwall, England.
