Fluorite wth Quartz and Pyrite

ID: CC11180
A terrific specimen composed of a cleaved-off corner of blueish-green Fluorite from a large crystal with its three outer faces almost completely coated with stubby Quartz crystals and these, in turn, with Pyrite.  From South Tamar Consols close to Bere Alston in Devon, the triangular cleaved face displays triangular colour zoning on the octahedral plane of the crystal’s interior.  A great specimen for the locality.
