A gemmy, pale honey-yellow terminated crystal of Aragonite from Číčov (Spitzberg) in the Ústí Region of Bohemia, Czech Republic.  The ex-matrix crystal is hexagonal in section and has a skewed, asymmetric termination.  Part of the termination and one prism face are furrowed from where a former adjacent crystal interrupted this crystal’s development. The Aragonite displays excellent transparency, but contains some internal flaws and crazing.
