A very vuggy specimen of maroon coloured Cuprite with light blue-white Chrysocolla and whitish Kaolinite from Marke Valley Mine, Cornwall. Lots of cavities in the massive Cuprite some measuring to 2cm are richly lined with bright red networks of acicular variety Chalcotrichite crystals. A fine example of the Cuprite variety Chalcotrichite from the mine. The specimen also comes with an F.H.Butler label dated to around 1885.
