A stunning, and again very different, Pyromorphite from the Les Farges Mine at Ussel in Corr├Ęze, France. Various habits of highly lustrous, acidic grass-green Pyromorphite richly coat a flat plate of opaque milky Calcite covered in dark chocolate-brown to black Goethite and Limonite. The Pyromorphite forms druses of micro-acicular crystals; stubby hexagonal crystals to 4 or 5 mm with hoppered terminations and one area of an unusual leaf-like sheave structure, measuring 3.0 x 0.8 cm. A gorgeous Les Farges Pyromorphite with many fascinating crystal forms.
