Superb crystals of gooseberry-lime-green Pyromorphite richly coat a vuggy, porous, rusty-orange limonitic matrix from the Daoping mine in Gongcheng County, China.  This mine is renowned for its world-class Pyromorphite, found in the limestone-hosted hydrothermal lead-zinc deposits. The lustrous Pyromorphite crystals form hexagonal prisms from sub-mm to over 1 cm. One area in the centre is composed of horizontally-stacked Pyromorphite crystals, all in parallel growth, which forms a solid lustrous mass.  A beautiful and very showy Pyromorphite from the Daoping Mine, China.
