This specimen is priced in US dollars, all other prices are approximate.
ID: CC11522
This specimen is composed entirely of the copper sulphide mineral Chalcocite and is from the St. Just mining district, near to Land’s End. Intergrown, steel-blue hexagonal Chalcocite crystals form a tight cluster with razor-sharp edges and beautifully striated faces. The largest crystal measures 1.7 cm across its flats and on some surfaces, micro-granular crystals of a bluish-green mineral occur, probably Paratacamite.
