ID: CC11552
An excellent old-time specimen of Alstonite that comes with a British Museum (Natural History) label obtained by them in 1863. Crystals of lustrous steeply pyramidal translucent white Alstonite measuring to 6-7mm mostly covering white platy Witherite crystals replaced by Baryte. A fine Alstonite from the type locality at the Brownley Hill Mine, Cumbria.
