An excellent and highly aesthetic Pyromorphite from the well-known Spanish locality of the El Horcajo mine at Minas de Horcajo.  The specimen is composed entirely of crystallised Pyromorphite save for a minor sliver of matrix on one edge.  Acidic-lime green acicular crystals averaging 1 to 1.5 cm long form stacked layers, but each at divergent angles giving an almost wind-swept appearance.  On initial inspection, some of the crystal terminations appear to be broken, but under a x10 lens, this appears not the case as pinacoid growth structures can be clearly seen.  A splendid specimen.
