Pyromorphite with Fluorite and Baryte

An uncommon specimen from the Le Rossignol mine at Chaillac in the Centre-Val de Loire, France.  A superb cluster of prismatic dark clove Pyromorphite crystals displaying parallel growth are aesthetically perched at one side of the specimen; if displayed in a cabinet, this would be best positioned at the top.  The Pyromorphite crystals measure to 1.4 cm and sit on a Fluorite crystal adjacent to a bladed group of translucent, greyish teal blue Baryte crystals with a light dusting of Pyrite.  The Baryte crystals form spectacular sub-parallel rows with cog wheel-like castellated tops.
