A fine single crystal of the copper-cobalt sulphide Carrollite, from the occurrence at the Kamoya South mine, Dem Rep of the Congo. The crystal specimen measures to an impressive 4.6cm, with the typical metallic bright silver lustre and each face showing some growth patterns. The underside is fascinating as the Carrollite crystal has formed against the matrix leaving a concentric zoning pattern, a first-class crystal specimen of Carrollite from the Kamoya South mine.
