A gossany plate of sooty-black Goethite streaked with rust-coloured limonite is richly dusted with delicate acicular Pyromorphite crystals to around 0.9 cm.  The Pyromorphite is translucent and ranges between pale straw and straw-lemon, with the slightly thicker crystals exhibiting pale orange-tan tips.  This attractive specimen is from Le Kaymar in the Occitanie region of France.
