Very few Cerussite specimens are attributed to the Wheatley mines near to Phoenixville. Pyromorphite and Cerussite are the two classic mineral species from this locality and this specimen is a fine combination of the two.  The Pyromorphite crystals are small, ranging between microcrystals up to 3 mm. The colour ranging from rich deep leaf green to yellow-green, many with lime-green terminations. The Pyromorphite is on a limonitic matrix in which two vugs are filled with glassy transparent twinned Cerussite crystals.  A fine specimen of Pyromorphite and Cerussite from this famous mine area.
