A long and narrow group of sub-vertical, translucent pale pink Manganoan Calcite crystals form a jagged crystallised array, with many of the front upper halves of the crystals coated in micro-crystals of golden Pyrite.  From the Broken Hill mining district in New South Wales, Australia, the glassy Manganoan Calcite is coated with a thin film of white, and in some places lemon-orange, Aragonite.  A terrific specimen and equally impressive when backlit when the Calcite emits a warn pink glow.
