Excellent, bright lime green-tinged acidic lemon yellow Pyromorphite crystals measuring to 5 mm are mainly clustered over half of this small cabinet specimen from Les Farges mine. The sharp, hexagonal prisms are translucent to semi-transparent with flat pinacoid terminations and a bright, highly reflective glassy lustre. Underlying the Pyromorphite is an attractive, greyish powder blue layer of drusy Quartz crystals encrusting millimetre-scale stalagmitic towers. A 1.5 x 1 cm area at the opposite end to the green Pyromorphite is rich in micro-botryoidal, light beige Pyromorphite. Yet another very different manifestation of Pyromorphite from Les Farges mine at Ussel in the Corr├Ęze Department of France.
