Arsenatian Vanadinite var. Endlichite

An arresting cabinet specimen of the arsenic-rich variety of Vanadinite, Endlichite, from the Mibladen mining district of Morocco.  The display face is composed entirely of highly lustrous hexagonal Arsenatian Vanadinite crystals; each crystal formed from smaller yet similar hexagonal crystals.  Because of this building block morphology, many of the larger-scale crystals have become curved as the smaller crystals gradually tilt and re-orientate.  The overall colour varies according to the composition of the smaller crystals and range between light caramel to dark chocolate-brown.  A beautiful and highly aesthetic Moroccan Endlichite.
