A really beautiful specimen of Pyrite with Siderite from the mines of the Trepča Complex within Kosovska Mitrovica, Kosovo.  On a matrix of massive limestone, Pyrite, Galena and minor Chalcopyrite are four metallic, highly lustrous composite crystals of brassy golden Pyrite.  These form as rosettes and curved-stepped cubes amongst ribs of pale to golden-tan sheaves of Siderite crystals, 1 to 2 mm across.  The largest Pyrite crystal measures 4.2 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm with the remaining three each just over one cubic cm.  A very attractive and showy Pyrite with Siderite from Trepča.
