ID: CC12093
A rare German specimen of lustrous, white-light grey Cerussite with jackstraw crystals displaying parallel growth and measuring to 5.4 cm, from Kommern in the Eifel of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. This old time miniature appears fragile but is surprisingly robust with the individual acicular crystals well-cemented together. The mixed combination of white and light grey Cerussite greatly enhances the specimen’s aesthetic, highlighting contrasts in texture. This excellent example of Cerussite from this historic locality and accompanied with an old Dr A. Krantz (Bonn) label.
