An impressive botryoidal coating of bubbly light apple-green Cuprian Aragonite surrounded by milky-white Aragonite, some of which forms botryoidal mounds up to 1 cm in diameter.  The Aragonite forms as a flowstone over the dense dark grey matrix, typical of specimens from Tynebottom mine, in Garrigill, Alston Moor, Cumbria.
