Probably in excess of 200 deep leaf-green Duftite crystals richly coat two faces of a pinkish-cream matrix of metamorphosised carbonate, locally termed “wad marble”.  From Sabine's Shaft at Mount Bonnie Mine, Grove Hill, Northern Territory, Australia, the crystals range between about 0.5 to 2 mm across, the majority being towards the larger end.  The Duftite shows good crystal development and is associated with a little crystalline Cerussite.
