Superbly crystallised Native Copper is a trademark mineral of Relistian mine in Gwinear, Cornwall, but is seldomly seen for purchase or in private collections. This small miniature, measuring 3.5 cm long, is composed entirely of excellent Native Copper crystals exhibiting several crystal habits including spinel twins. Its patina is mainly that of copper-tinged milk chocolate brown, although this does grade to darker shades. It is a fairly robust piece, yet needs to be handled with due care and respect. For safe keeping it is kept cushioned in a small screw-top jar supplied by the previous owner. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a Relistian crystallised Native Copper; a very good one indeed.
