Chalcedony on Quartz

$300.00   €261  £220.00 approx.

This specimen is priced in US dollars, all other prices are approximate.

ID: CC13238
A superb small cabinet specimen of lemon tinted creamy Chalcedony coating a group of hexagonal Quartz crystals from Cornwall.  No further locality information is known for the specimen, but it is without doubt of Cornish origin.  Later generations of botryoidal pale lemon Chalcedony overgrow the first layer and these spherical druses tend to cluster more towards the apex on the underlying Quartz crystals.  A label is glued to one side of the specimen numbered 117 written in an old script and probably dating to Victorian times.
